Brian Kilmeade

UPDATE: We regret to announce that this event has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled in 2019. We hope to have Brian back in 2020, perhaps when this title is published in softcover. Refunds to ticketholders have been issued, and the reversal should appear shortly via the same method of payment used. Apologies for the inevitable disappointment this cancellation causes, and thanks for your support of Interabang Books, which continues to operate online. We are preparing to reopen in temporary space in November.

Join us for a special book signing with Brian Kilmeade of Fox & Friends. In SAM HOUSTON & THE ALAMO AVENGERS, Brian  brings alive one of the most pivotal moments in American history, telling the heart-stopping story of the fight for Texas independence.

This 90-minute event is a book signing only. Brian will sign and personalize copies of the new book for customers, but the tight timetable does not allow for a book discussion or Q&A. Copies  of SAM HOUSTON & THE ALAMO AVENGERS may be ordered in advance via Eventbrite ticketing from this page; the cost of your ticket is the cost of the book. Walk-in book purchases are OK at the event, but we encourage a ticket purchase in advance to secure your book and ensure your place in the signing line. Photography is permitted.

More about the book: While the events at the Alamo are familiar to most, fewer remember that, following that crushing loss, Sam Houston led a ragtag army of volunteers to a victory at San Jacinto that paved the way for America’s Westward expansion. Brian Kilmeade recounts how the Mexican army led by General Santa Anna massacred 200+ Texans who had been trapped for 13 days in the Alamo. Jim Bowie and David Crockett died there, along with others who had moved to Texas looking for a fresh start. But the dramatic events at the Alamo are only Act I in an extraordinary drama.

The Alamo galvanized the surviving Texans and, commanded by General Houston, a small army of settlers rallied. Just one month after the massacre, the underdog Texans soundly defeated Santa Anna at the Battle of San Jacinto. In 18 short minutes they won the independence for which so many had died.

SAM HOUSTON & THE ALAMO AVENGERS recaptures the pivotal days in the future state of Texas that would change America forever. Brian Kilmeade takes us from Gonzalez to Goliad and on to San Jacinto. He sheds light on the tight-rope the war hero walks between courage and calculation. Thanks to Kilmeade’s storytelling, a new generation of readers will remember the Alamo and the independence that followed.
BRIAN KILMEADE is the coauthor of GEORGE WASHINGTON'S SECRET SIX, THOMAS JEFFERSON AND THE TRIPOLI PIRATES, and ANDREW JACKSON AND THE MIRACLE AT NEW ORLEANS, all The New York Times bestsellers. Kilmeade cohosts Fox News Channel's morning show Fox & Friends.
