Friends, this weekend Interabang will be open with some limitations we want to advise you of. Without rehashing the tale of burst pipes next door and flooded floors in our store during February’s winter storm, we’ll just say that we'll turn the page on the latest chapter of restoration this Friday through the following Tuesday. The details for you:

• August 6, Friday: We begin to shift our displays and store fixtures for carpet installation and replacement of water-damaged bookcases. All our books will be on the move, and floor space will be limited. We will be open for curbside service and book pickup. Our staff will answer the phone, check stock, pull your books, and assist you at the front door.
• August 7, Saturday: Curbside service and book pickup continues. There will be no Story Time. Again, staff will answer the phone, check stock, pull your books, and assist you at the front door.
• August 8, Sunday: The same as Saturday. Curbside service and book pickup continues. Staff will answer the phone, check stock, pull your books, and assist you at the front door.
• August 9, Monday: With damaged bookcases removed, carpet installation is scheduled. For what we hope is the last full day, curbside service and book pickup continues.
• August 10, Tuesday: As carpet installation is completed, we hope to return to regular service by late afternoon. Until then, curbside service and book pickup will continue.
• August 11, Wednesday: Although permanent new cases will not be in place, customers can come back into the store for browsing, with feet firmly and comfortably planted upon a new installation of our beautiful blue carpeting.
